Steven Kessner

Principal

Steve Kessner is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of The RE Group of Companies, an umbrella entity comprised of functional real estate related companies including funding & finance, property management and construction. Beginning in 1981, working with a small group of investors and a few million dollars of capital, Steve amassed a portfolio of more than 75 properties in the New York metropolitan area valued at nearly $1 Billion.

Steve graduated from Dartmouth College, class of 1973, with a BS in Economics.

Michael Kessner

Principal

Michael Kessner began working for Steve Kessner’s business in the 1990s and was promoted in 2002 to Vice President responsible for overseeing management, construction and maintenance of his father’s portfolio. In 2011, Steve Kessner and Michael Kessner partnered and have since bought and sold property in excess of $500 million in both Manhattan and Westchester County. Michael oversees all aspects of the property and asset management of the Kessners’ real estate holdings while also sourcing new acquisitions.

Michael graduated from New York University, class of 2002, with a BA.
